A number of Scots helped the Samurai Bulldogs (Blue) to a third placed finish at a high quality sevens event in Bath at the weekend.

The RFU’s Secure Trading 24/Sevens National Finals are the culmination of a nationwide competition seeking out the very best sevens teams in the UK.

Set in the unique Bath Recreation ground the Bulldogs team, which had done well at events in Newcastle and then Leeds earlier in the summer to qualify, had a great day  on Saturday.

They eventually lost out in the last four, but bounced back to win their third place play-off.
