Ardrossan Accies minis and micros capped their 2016/17 season with a cracking presentation day.

Following a year full of fantastic rugby and wonderful endeavour the happy children were awarded their rugby medals in an open event at the rugby club towards the end of June.

After a quick recap of the numerous achievements made by the players throughout the season, the entire squad from Primary 1 through to Primary 7 received their medals in front of bumper crowd of delighted parents.

Two players from each year group from the minis (P4-7) were also awarded trophies for particularly outstanding achievements throughout the year.

The sportsman or sportswoman of the year was recognised for their commitment to the sport as well as their impeccable attitude and conduct.

The player of the year award went to the individual player that consistently performed to the highest of standards on the field.

Once again, the youngsters proved themselves to be phenomenal credit to their coaches, their parents but most importantly to themselves. Well done young Accies!
