Key Edinburgh Players Return From Injury

Edinburgh Rugby has provided an update on the injury status of several players ahead of their match against Zebre Parma.

Ben Muncaster, Mark Bennett, Emiliano Boffelli, and Ross McCann have all returned to full training following injuries to their ankle, pectoral muscle, back, and calf respectively. This is a significant boost for the team as they gear up for the upcoming game.

Freddy Douglas, who had been sidelined with an ankle injury, has now returned to training with Scotland U20, signaling his recovery is progressing well.

On a less positive note, Jamie Hodgson, who has undergone surgery for a tricep injury, will be out of action until late April. Similarly, Tom Dodd’s shoulder injury will require surgical intervention, with a recovery timeline to be announced after the operation. Lewis Wells, dealing with an ankle issue, isn’t expected back until May. Meanwhile, Connor Boyle’s return from a knee injury remains uncertain as further assessment is needed post-surgery.

This update provides a clearer picture of the team’s health status as they prepare for their challenge against Zebre Parma this week.
