Scotland U18 Women Set for Day Two Battles at Six Nations Festival

Scotland Women U18 will face England and Ireland today on day two of the U18 Six Nations Festival at Wellington College, with head coach Lindsey Smith naming two separate squads for the back-to-back fixtures.

After challenging opening games against Wales and France, the squad has regrouped and is preparing to build on lessons learned as the festival continues.

The Six Nations Festival serves as an important development opportunity for players, coaches, and officials across both the men’s and women’s games. It offers many players their first experience of international rugby and a valuable introduction to the demands of the high-performance environment.

Reflecting on day one, Smith highlighted areas of promise in her squad’s performances—particularly around physicality and attacking intent—while noting the steep learning curve that comes with facing top-tier opposition such as France and Wales.
